From Seed to Garment
Africa has a deep-rooted history with cotton, yet many farmers face mounting challenges. From struggling with access to indigenous seed varieties to the increasing reliance on imported genetically modified alternatives, the very foundation of traditional cotton farming is under threat. Recognising this, we sought out partners who are committed to regenerating both the land and the livelihoods of the artisans and farmers who depend on it. we believe in fashion that goes beyond aesthetics, it must have roots, purpose, and impact. Our Regenerative Land Initiative is designed to restore African farmlands, empower communities, and reconnect people with the origins of what they wear. As we work directly with farmers, artisans, and local communities, we create a sustainable ecosystem where the land thrives, farmers earn fair wages, and you become part of a transformative movement.
How it works.
Commit to Restoration
By pledging any amount, you help restore and cultivate a plot of land in any one of our 54 countries in Africa using regenerative agricultural practices. This investment supports soil restoration, ethical farming wages, the use of natural fertilisers, and the cultivation of cotton alongside other beneficial companion crops.
Nurture & Grow
Local farmers, trained in traditional and regenerative techniques, carefully cultivate the land. These methods naturally enhance soil fertility and increase biodiversity. This is not just farming, it is a healing process for the land and its people.
A Harvest Rooted in Sustainability
The cotton grown will be harvested. The yield will depend on the land’s natural rhythms, the regenerative methods used, and the care provided by the farming community. Every step honors nature’s balance.
Your Reward in Fashion & Impact
For every [amount] of cotton produced on the plot, our sponsors earn store credit. A successful harvest could mean that your contribution exceeds its initial value. You also gain exclusive early access to our Farm-to-Closet collection, crafted from the cotton you helped grow.
